Lotte Glad (43) has been hired as senior advisor by communication consultancy JKL. Lotte comes most recently from software company IntraPoint, where she served as Director of Business Development and Marketing. Her background also includes positions at PA Consulting, SAP Norway and Kvaerner. JKL thus gains a stronger position within corporate communications.

-We strive to recruit consultants with relevant industry experience. Lotte has held management positions within communications, marketing and business development. She has experience from both Norway and the U.S. and will further strengthen our corporate communications offer, said Cecilie Ditlev-Simonsen, director of JKL Oslo.

For the past three years Lotte has been based in the U.S., working with the sales and marketing of crisis management software developed by the Norwegian company IntraPoint. She served as Marketing Director of PA Consulting from 2006-07, and Marketing and Communications Director at SAP Norway from 2000-05. From 1996-99 she held the position of Director of Communications at Kvaerner.

Lotte will join the group of 17 other advisors at JKL’s Oslo office on May 4th. The firm is growing. JKL’s operations in Norway had a 2009 turnover of nearly NOK 26m, an increase of 7 per cent over 2008, and plans are to recruit additional consultants in 2010. In addition to relevant managerial experience, JKL is looking for specialists in the areas of government relations, financial communication, and media and crisis management.

Lotte also previously worked as a journalist at the Norwegian Embassy in Washington, D.C. She holds a Master’s degree in journalism from the University of North Texas in the U.S. and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oslo. She also holds a degree in technical English translation from the University of Agder.

Lars N. Sæthre, senior advisor and partner at JKL, will be leaving JKL this spring to assume the newly-created position of Director of Communications for Handelsbanken.
